I'm no expert, but I think Ticketmaster has exclusive arrangements with the people/groups they represent. It's my understanding that if tix are sold through Ticketmaster they are highly unlikely to be available through another avenue except perhaps by scalpers.

Just my 2 cents. Maybe someone knows better. At least from TM you'll know the tix are real and not fakes.
